Library Classification Graphics

These colorful designs are valuable visual aids for teaching the library classifications and are equally effective as shelf top signage. Details in each design help young patrons understand and recognize the library classifications. Seeing the same images out among the stacks as shelf labels reinforces your library classification instruction, helping students make the connection between what has been taught and how to use it.

Each of these library classification graphics has space for brief text, which you specify based on the terminology you use for the classifications in your library. Classification graphics can be displayed as large banners or posters, or as shelf top signage. For ideas, see our library posters and acrylic display cubes.

Older students and patrons may not need the same detail to find their way in your library, but then the classification graphics can be modified to delete unnecessary detail,  to select one detail to feature by itself, or to combine details to create a new image. Addition of text and simple deletions are done at no additional cost. More extensive modifications are quoted at a nominal charge.
