Library Banners - Banners for Libraries

Library banners add color and visual interest to the decor and signage of your library. Banners can be printed on fabric or vinyl for indoor or outdoor display. Indoor fabric banners are printed on poly poplin with the dye sublimation process so they can be washed and ironed.

The indoor vinyl used for our library banners is of durable quality, printed at high resolution and it resists curling at the edges.

Both types of indoor printing create a matte finish. Unless you choose otherwise, all library banners are finished with rod pockets top and bottom. A weighted bottom rod can help prevent motion if you have a security system that uses motion detection in your library.

Banners printed for outdoor display are either heavy vinyl or heavy duty canvas. Vinyl images have a mild luster (slight shine) while canvas banners have a matte finish. These library banners are also finished with rod pockets top and bottom.

Prices for the library banners do not include hardware, but if you would like us to help you find what you need, just ask. Many library banners are hung simply with adhesive squares or wooden dowels or slats and monofilament (fishing line).

You can specify the dimensions for your library banners as well as colors and any text. The price list includes our more commonly ordered library banner dimensions. If you are having trouble visualizing the correct banner size for your library, see the Library Signage Plans page for some helpful tips.

Phone or e-mail us for a quote if your size is not listed or for a free consultation. You might want a series of overlapping panels above the stacks to create a library banner along one whole wall of your library. Banners that hang from the ceiling or off a wall usually need to be double-sided. You can select two different library images or the same image on both sides.

Hang your customized library banners single-sided against a wall. The simplicity of design works well in any decor: formal or utilitarian, traditional or contemporary.

Banners printed on fabric can be ordered with only a hot knife finish to prevent fraying edges and then stretched over wooden frames that are readily available as kits in craft stores. Do it yourself or ask us to quote. (The costliest part is shipping large flat pieces without damage.)

Hang these stretched library banners as you would any artwork.

Double-sided, library banners can be displayed on a window, from a pillar, ceiling, banner-stand or off a wall.
